60mm Universal Day & Night Modular Telescope — Imaging Ready
The LS60MT Enhanced Kit upgrades the Standard in two areas that matter most to observers ready to move beyond casual visual work: blocking filter aperture for imaging capability, and a zoom eyepiece for continuous magnification control. The result is a system configured for the observer who wants to capture the Sun as well as observe it, and who wants the flexibility to explore the disk at any magnification without changing glass.
The B1200 blocking filter doubles the clear aperture from 6mm to 12mm, providing the back-focus clearance and full image circle that imaging sensors require. Whether using a dedicated solar camera or a mirrorless body, the B1200 ensures your sensor sees the complete, unvignetted field of view. Combined with the ZWO EAF-compatible 2" dual-speed focuser, this is a system ready for motorized focus control and serious solar imaging sessions from day one.
The 7.2–21.5mm zoom eyepiece transforms the visual experience. At the low end, full-disk context for prominence surveys and active region location. At the high end, tight crops on individual features when seeing cooperates. Near-parfocal design keeps focus stable across the zoom range. This single eyepiece replaces three or four fixed focal lengths and means you are never without the right magnification — critical during sessions when conditions shift and solar features evolve faster than eyepiece changes allow.
The same premium FLP51 ED doublet objective, the same Doppler True pressure-tuned etalon delivering <0.45Å verified bandpass, the same day-to-night modular design.
