Starizona's autofocus and accessory kit for the Askar 50P enhances this already adorable telescope.
The autofocus bracket works with the ZWO EAF and mounts in place of one of the stock finder brackets using the original screws. Pulleys are included for both the newer EAF with 4mm shaft and the original EAF with 5mm shaft. An MXL timing belt is included which fits the helical focuser of the 50P.
A larger, longer dew shield provides added stray light protection. It threads on in place of the stock dew shield, is reversible, and when revered uses the stock lens cap to protect the objective lens. The inside is textured to prevent scattered light.
A Bahtinov mask fits over the upgraded dew shield to help get the best focus.
The kit also includes a riser for the handle to make it easier to fit your hand under the handle to carry this little scope around. Longer mounting screws for the riser are included.
Parts are 3D printed from durable, heat resistant carbon fiber PETG.
