Starizona's QuickSwitch allows the use of a ZWO EAF focus motor on an SCT while maintaining the ability to manually focus. This makes it easy to switch between different imaging setups like HyperStar versus planetary imaging, and makes it easy to use the telescope visually without the hassle of removing the EAF.
A thumb screw is used to engage and disengage the EAF which drives the focus knob using a belt and custom 3D printed pulleys. The brackets to attach the motor and to mount to the telescope are machined from aluminum. All necessary hardware is included.
The QuickSwitch kit now includes all the parts needed for any Celestron SCT. There are 3 different focus knob/pulleys: one for 6", 8" (regular and HD), and 9.25" (regular) scopes; one for 9.25" HD scopes; and one for 11" (regular and HD) scopes.
Two motor pulleys are included to fit either the original EAF (5mm shaft) or the new EAF (4mm shaft).
