Vixen's NEW AX103S f/8.0 Refractor Telescope features a three element objective lens, incorporating a central ED lens. The fourth lens is inside the focuser drawtube. This reduces chromatic aberration and yields high contrast images. In combination with the rear Field Corrector Lens, the AX103 Refractor Telescope yields sharp high contrast images with no trace of false color.
"Precision Multi-Coating" applied to the lenses, enhances visible light and assures extremely high light transmission. Residual chromatic aberrations are eliminated. Astronomy Magazine states "Its superb optics allow high magnification views". The built in Dual Speed Focuser enables coarse and fine focus adjustments.
