Use this longer counterweight shaft to extend the weights on your Celestron CGEM mount for heavier payloads. The shaft is 17" long (plus threads), making it 6-3/8" longer than the standard shaft. Machined from stainless steel with finely grooved surface for better counterweight grip. Weight: approx. 2.5 lbs
