Veil Nebula

This image is a mosaic of 16 frames taken with a Meade 14" LX200GPS and HyperStar.  The area of sky covered is more than 10 square degrees.  The final full resolution image contains nearly 40 million pixels, and the definition visible in the nebulosity is very impressive.  Yet the total exposure time is only about half an hour!  Image by Daniel Champion.
