QHY8 - 6.0 Megapixel APS One-Shot Color CCD

The QHY8 is a large-format (APS-size) one-shot color camera. It is perfect for a variety of imaging applications, and is ideal for HyperStar imaging with the new large-format HyperStar lenses which will cover the 28mm diagonal chip size of the QHY8. Match the QHY8 to a HyperStar lens and turn your Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope into the ultimate wide-field imaging system!

Starizona inspects each QHY8 and purges the CCD chamber with nitrogen to prevent dewing of the sensor.

The QHY8 ships with drivers for MaxIm DL, but is also compatible with AstroArt, CCDSoft, and Nebulosity.
