The Atik 314E color CCD camera is a great low-price camera that is perfect for HyperStar imaging. For a limited time, we are bundling this camera together with HyperStar lenses for a great entry-level system for new astroimagers!

The small 4.65-micron pixels of the Atik 314E make it an ideal match to HyperStar imaging. The one-shot color sensor in the 314E makes color imaging of deep-sky objects incredibly easy: no need for red, green, and blue filters and a filter wheel.

The HyperStar lens can be easily installed and removed from a Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope in place of the secondary mirror at the front of the scope. This allows ultra-fast f/2 imaging, making the telescope 25 times faster than at f/10. Deep-sky images can be captured in just a couple minutes instead of hours! And the need for polar alignment and autoguiding is eliminated, making this by far the easiest imaging system for beginners.
